- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
Instructions
- Peel and Slice: Peel the onions and cut them into thin round slices.
- Drizzle Oil: Drizzle oil over the onion slices and gently separate the rings.
- Air Fry: Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket. Fry initially at 300F for 10 minutes. Gently mix the rings every 5 minutes.
- Lower Temperature: Lower the temperature to 240F and continue frying. Mix the rings every 5 minutes. It will take 15-18 minutes @240F to achieve the desired color and texture.
Notes
- You can use red onions for a darker color of fried onions.
- Cooking times may vary based on the quantity of onions. Adjust the frying time accordingly.
