  • 1/2 Tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tsp paprika
  • 1/4 Tsp cumin
  • 1/4 Tsp oregano
  • 1/2 Tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 Tsp black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Onions: Peel, trim, and slice onions. Separate into petals.
  2. Soak Onions: Combine buttermilk and eggs, then soak onion slices.
  3. Prepare Breading: Mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings in a bowl.
  4. Bread Onions: Coat soaked onion petals in breading.
  5. Cook in Air Fryer: Air fry at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Make Sauce: Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl.
