Description

These Air Fryer French Toast Sticks are a quick and easy breakfast or snack option. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they’re delicious with a drizzle of maple syrup.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 slices bread (like Texas toast or brioche), thickly sliced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Cooking spray
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut Bread: Cut each slice of bread into four equal sticks.
  2. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar.
  3. Dip Bread Sticks: Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Grease the basket and arrange bread sticks in a single layer. Air fry for 4 minutes, flip, and air fry for another 4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve: Serve hot with maple syrup.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bread for best results.
  • Reduce sugar in the egg mixture for a less sweet option.
  • Preheat air fryer for optimal crispiness.
