Description

These Air Fryer Hashbrowns are the easiest and crispiest way to enjoy perfectly golden hashbrown patties with minimal effort—ready in 10 minutes using only your favorite frozen hashbrowns and a little cooking spray. Great for a quick breakfast or a tasty side at any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Main Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hashbrown patties
  • Optional

  • Cooking oil spray (such as olive oil spray)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare – Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil spray for a crispier finish.
  2. Arrange Hashbrowns – Place 4 frozen hashbrown patties in an even layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overlap them so they cook evenly.
  3. Cook Initial Side – Air fry the patties at 400°F for 5 minutes. This will start crisping up the exterior while heating the interior.
  4. Flip and Continue Cooking – Flip the hashbrowns using tongs. Lightly spray the tops with additional oil spray for extra crispiness. Air fry for another 5 minutes, or until the patties are golden and crisp on the outside and heated through.
  5. Serve – Carefully remove the hashbrowns from the basket. Dab off any excess oil with a paper towel if desired. Serve hot with your favorite breakfast sides.

Notes

  • Nutritional content depends on the brand of hashbrowns purchased; this recipe was tested using TJ Farms Select Hashbrown Patties.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your specific air fryer model; watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Spraying with olive oil or adding a little oil before air frying ensures extra crispy potatoes.
  • Dab excess oil off with a paper towel before serving for a lighter texture.
  • Pairs well with fresh fruit, eggs, and air fryer bacon for a complete breakfast.
