  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1/3 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips, plus extra for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: to 350°F.
  2. Prepare the wet ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together almond butter, milk, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients: Add oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and chocolate chips to the wet mixture. Stir until well combined.
  4. Prepare the baking tin: Line an 8×8 baking tin with parchment paper and pour in the batter. Top with extra chocolate chips.
  5. Bake: Bake for about 20 minutes or until the top is firm to the touch.
