Description
This homemade BBQ Sauce is smoky, tangy, and slightly sweet, with a hint of whiskey. Perfect for slathering on ribs, chicken, or pulled pork.

- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup whiskey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- ombine and Simmer: Add all ingredients to a saucepan and stir well. Bring to a bubble over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 7-10 days.
