Description

These Blackberry Margaritas are a refreshing twist on the classic cocktail, featuring the bold flavor of blackberries alongside tequila, lime juice, and cointreau. Perfect for a summer gathering or a relaxing evening at home.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Margaritas:

  • 4 ounces tequila
  • 2 ounces lime juice
  • 2 ounces cointreau
  • 12 blackberries, muddled
  • Topo Chico to finish

For Garnish:

  • Limes
  • Aggressively salted rim

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glasses: Run a wedge of lime across the top of 2 glasses. Once damp, coat the rim in salt.
  2. Mix the Margaritas: Muddle the blackberries. Add the tequila, lime juice, cointreau, and strain to remove most of the seeds. Serve over ice in a salted rimmed glass.

Notes

  • Not everyone loves salt on their margarita so you can always make your rim smaller.
