This Chicken Caesar Salad Dip is a creamy, savory appetizer that’s perfect for entertaining or snacking. Filled with layers of crisp romaine lettuce, juicy rotisserie chicken, tangy Caesar dressing, and crunchy croutons, this dish combines classic Caesar salad flavors in a fun and shareable format.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Base:

    • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup (57.5 g) sour cream
    • 3/4 cup (176 g) Caesar salad dressing, plus more for garnish
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

For the Toppings:

  • 2 cups (94 g) Romaine lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups (210 g) rotisserie chicken, shredded and diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup (20 g) croutons, homemade or store-bought, crushed
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream cheese mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add the sour cream, Caesar dressing, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt. Mix until smooth and fully combined. Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a medium serving dish.
  2. Layer the salad components: Layer the chopped Romaine lettuce evenly over the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Season and add chicken: Season the shredded and diced rotisserie chicken with black pepper, then evenly distribute it on top of the lettuce layer.
  4. Add Parmesan and croutons: Sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken, followed by scattering the crushed croutons over the top.
  5. Add bacon and garnish: Finish by sprinkling the crumbled bacon over the croutons. Drizzle with a little extra Caesar dressing for garnish.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Serve immediately with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • The dip is best served immediately to maintain the crispness of the lettuce and croutons.
  • You can prepare the cream cheese mixture a few hours ahead and refrigerate until ready to assemble.
  • Feel free to customize with additional toppings like cherry tomatoes or sliced olives for added flavor.
  • Use thick-cut bacon for a heartier crunch, or substitute with turkey bacon for a lighter option.
