Description

These Cinnamon Roll Sliders are a warm, gooey, and irresistible treat. Made with Hawaiian rolls, a buttery cinnamon filling, and a sweet cream cheese icing, they’re perfect for a special breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 teaspoons butter, to grease pan
  • 1 (12 oz) package Hawaiian rolls
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Icing:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Assemble Rolls: Cut the sheet of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Make Filling: In a bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Fill Rolls: Spread half of the filling over the bottom layer of rolls. Top with the second layer of rolls and spread with remaining filling.
  5. Add Melted Butter: Pour melted butter around the edges of the dish.
  6. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Make Icing: While the rolls bake, combine all icing ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth.
  8. Frost and Serve: Drizzle icing over the warm baked rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
  • If the icing is too thick, add a teaspoon or two of milk to thin it out.
  • These cinnamon roll sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
