Ingredients

Units Scale

Filling

      • 6 large eggs, scrambled
      • 8 ounces ground pork sausage, cooked
      • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled (about 1 cup)
      • 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Sliders

      • 1 package (12-count) King’s Hawaiian Rolls

Topping

    • 1 recipe cowboy butter, melted, divided

Instructions

  1. Preparation – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Set the dish aside.
  2. Prepare Rolls – Split the King’s Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish, arranging them closely together.
  3. Add Cowboy Butter – Evenly pour about 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter over the bottom halves of the rolls to infuse them with flavor.
  4. Add Fillings – Layer the scrambled eggs evenly over the rolls. Then add the cooked sausage, followed by the crumbled bacon, and finish with the shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  5. Assemble Sliders – Place the top halves of the rolls over the layered fillings. Brush the tops with 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter for extra flavor and a golden finish.
  6. Bake the Sliders – Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is hot and bubbly and ingredients are heated through.
  7. Crisp the Tops – Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the tops of the sliders are golden brown and slightly crisp.
  8. Serve – Remove the baking dish from the oven. Slice the sliders and serve immediately, brushing them with the remaining cowboy butter or serving it on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • You can prepare the filling ingredients ahead of time for quicker assembly in the morning.
  • Feel free to substitute turkey sausage, ham, or your favorite cheese.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated for a quick breakfast.
  • To make it spicier, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the egg mixture.
