Chicken Thighs:

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper flakes, or Cayenne (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Garlic Butter Mixture:
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced or minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 stick butter, diced
- Zest of half a lemon
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
- Chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker. Combine chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest; pour over chicken.
- Season the Chicken: Mix Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over chicken. Add garlic and butter.
- Cook: Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
- Finish and Serve: Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve with preferred sides.
