Description

These Green Smoothie Popsicles are a refreshing and healthy treat perfect for hot summer days. Made with a blend of banana, pineapple, orange juice, and spinach, these popsicles are not only delicious but also packed with nutrients.


Ingredients

Fruit Mix:

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 cup (5oz/142g) pineapple
  • 1/2 cup (4floz/115g) orange juice

Spinach Layer:

  • 2 handfuls of spinach

Instructions

  1. Blend Fruit Mix: In a food processor or hand blender, puree the banana, pineapple, and orange juice until smooth.
  2. Fill Mold: Fill the mold halfway with the fruit mix.
  3. Add Spinach: Return the remaining fruit mix to the blender, add spinach, and blend until smooth.
  4. Create Layers: Fill the popsicle mold with the spinach mix to create colorful layers.
  5. Freeze: Cover the mold, insert sticks, and freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  6. Serve: To release the popsicles, run the molds under warm water.

Notes

  • No added sugar needed because they are naturally sweet.
