- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 6 Tablespoons White Vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 Tablespoon Onion, freshly grated
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 2 Teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 2 Teaspoons Mustard Powder
Seasonings
- 1 Teaspoon Poppy Seeds
- 1/2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Celery Seed
- 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Bring to a boil while whisking constantly. Let boil for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to simmer for another 5 minutes, whisking continuously.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
