  • 4 pints cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 18 large basil leaves, julienned, plus extra for serving
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb. dried angel hair pasta
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Step 2: Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  3. Step 3: Add the cooked pasta to the bowl with the cherry tomato mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and additional basil leaves. Toss well to combine.
  4. Step 4: Serve the pasta hot, topped with extra Parmesan cheese and basil leaves.
