Description

These Mississippi Sin Sliders are a warm, cheesy, and irresistible party appetizer. With a creamy filling of cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ham, and a hint of spice, they’re perfect for game day, potlucks, or any gathering.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Dash of hot sauce
  • 1 lb thick-sliced ham, chopped
  • 1 dozen pull-apart slider rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Make Filling: In a medium bowl, stir together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add green onions, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Stir to combine.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Slice slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the rolls, then sprinkle with chopped ham. Top with remaining cream cheese mixture and the top half of the rolls.
  4. Bake: Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10-15 minutes more, or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more hot sauce to the filling.
  • You can use any type of ham you like for this recipe.
  • If desired, add a layer of sliced pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
