Description

These Sautéed Green Beans are a quick and easy side dish that’s ready in minutes. Simply seasoned with garlic and parsley, they’re a delicious and healthy way to enjoy fresh green beans.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 pound (or 12-ounce bag) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt with parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim Green Beans: Trim the ends off the green beans.
  2. Sauté: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add green beans, garlic salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Cook for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.

Notes

  • Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred level of tenderness.
  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute the garlic salt with parsley flakes with regular garlic salt and add fresh parsley at the end.
