Description

A delicious and easy-to-make ground beef and Brussels sprouts stir-fry dish that is savory, slightly spicy, and packed with flavor. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!


Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

Brussels Sprouts:

  • 1 pound shredded Brussels sprouts
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 of a lime, juiced
  • sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ground Beef Mixture: Add ground beef to a skillet, crumble and cook with green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, sriracha, and soy sauce. Remove from skillet once cooked.
  2. Saute Brussels Sprouts: In the same skillet, saute shredded Brussels sprouts with salt and pepper until soft and caramelized.
  3. Combine and Serve: Return cooked beef to the skillet, add sweet chili sauce and lime juice. Stir to coat. Serve over rice, garnish with sesame seeds.
