Rosé Ice Cubes:
- 1 (750 ml) bottle rose wine
Frosé Mixture:
- 3 cups watermelon, cubed
- juice from 2 limes
- 1/2 cup lime seltzer
- 3 ounces watermelon vodka (optional)
Garnish:
- 4 small wedges watermelon
Instructions
- Rosé Ice Cubes: Pour rosé into 2 ice cube molds and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Frozen Watermelon: Place watermelon on a baking sheet or plate, and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Blending: Add frozen watermelon, lime juice, frozen rosé cubes, seltzer, and vodka (if using) to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Serve: Pour into 4 glasses and garnish each with a wedge of watermelon.
Notes
- The wine and watermelon can be frozen ahead of time and stored in the freezer for convenience.
- Add more seltzer water if needed to adjust the consistency of the cocktail.
- For a fun presentation, serve in a hollowed-out watermelon as a scorpion bowl with multiple straws.
- To make a non-alcoholic version, replace rosé with sparkling white grape juice and omit the vodka.
